Quest Director of Cyberpunk 2077 Pavel Sasko invited quest designer Philip Weber to his stream. They tried to explain why some elements of variability in the game could be neglected.

Weber cited the example of a mission in which V accompanies Takemura on his way to Wakako. Players could simply get into the car with the character and get to the place in automatic mode, get there on their own, or agree to a trip, but eventually change their minds.

Depending on the decision made, the designers had to think through many aspects – for example, the reaction of the NPC and the world to the actions of the main character. Weber acknowledged that this approach was not the best solution, and instead of variability, the authors could focus on more important parts of the game. Sasco agreed with the opinion of his colleague and added that many players did not even notice the work of the developers.

Cyberpunk 2077 is now available for purchase with a 50% discount for 1000 rubles from the GOG store. How long the promotion will last is unknown.

Cyberpunk 2077 was released in December 2020. After the release, players faced a huge number of bugs and other problems. Since then, the studio has continued to work on updates, the last of which came out in mid-September. Improved versions of the game are expected to arrive for the PS5 and Xbox Series X | S in 2022.
