E3 organizers from the Entertainment Software Association have commented on the harassment and discrimination investigation at Activision Blizzard. According to representatives of the organization, any statement should be heard and carefully considered. The perpetrators should be punished.

“Harassment, abuse or abuse of any kind in the workplace is unacceptable and should never be tolerated. When accusations are raised, the affected people need to be heard. Any claim must be recognized, thoroughly investigated, and dealt with with significant consequences. The resilience of our industry requires everyone in the workplace – and in our communities – to feel valued and respected, ”the ESA said.

Earlier, representatives of Sony and Microsoft spoke about the situation. Jim Ryan and Phil Spencer agreed that such an atmosphere within the company was unacceptable.
