Due to be released at the end of this year 2022, Overwatch 2 has already been approached by many players, thanks to the different beta phases. Since then, many have wondered if the title will offer a new one, before its official release. The answer is now known.

Recently, Blizzard Vice President Jon Spector wrote a post on his official Twitter account about it and said, “[…] We know players are eager to get their hands on [Overwatch]. 2] and have questions about a possible third public beta. While we continue to regularly test Overwatch 2, internally we have no plans for new public betas.”

Today marks just 2 months until Overwatch 2’s launch! We know players are eager to dive in and have seen questions about the possibility of a third public Beta. While we will continue testing OW2 daily internally, we’re not planning any additional public Beta tests. (1/2)

Thus, unfortunately, we should not expect new betas to be offered for Overwatch 2, between now and the official release of the title.

Remember that the second opus of the Overwatch license will be accessible at all times since it will be available in free-to-play on October 4, on most gaming platforms (PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series and Nintendo Switch). Overwatch 2 will feature three new Heroes, including Sojourn and Junker Queen. The app will also have a battle pass.
