A few weeks after the arrival of the 2023 version of eFootball, Konami is bringing some features, although some of the expected content, such as the Master League, will not arrive until 2023. For this October 6, players can enjoy a new online game mode, and new card packs.
Starting now, friends will be able to compete online in the all-new “Friends Match” mode , which allows two people to select their Dream Team. A feature that was, strangely, absent until now, but which will let players test their numbers and tactics against other opponents, without real stakes. This mode is available on PC and consoles, but not on mobile.
Konami says players will be able to pick up four new club packs, highlighting FC Barcelona, Manchester United, Bayern Munich and Arsenal. Each of these packs contains 11 “Featured” cards, one for each position, and allows both established players to improve their team and new ones to start on a good basis.
eFootball remains available in free-to-play on PC, consoles and mobiles. More content will be added in the coming months to improve the experience. After a rocky launch in 2021, the game of football has drastically improved, including kicking off the 2023 season last August.
