For a few years now, Thursday rhymes with free games. Like every week, PC players can claim their weekly freebie from the Epic Games Store. Today, the American publisher offers two titles, one of which comes from a very popular license.
The Epic Games Store free games of the week
We know the ritual by heart now. At 5 p.m. sharp, it’s time to pick up your free games from the Epic Games Store. Last week, the Fortnite Creators Store hit it big by giving away Fallout 3 and all of its DLC. No such cult RPG to close the month of October but a license particularly appreciated by its fans and a very recent release. From October 27 until November 3, PC players can download Saturnalia and Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus for free.

Acclaimed by critics and players, Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus is a turn-based tactical game with a great richness of gameplay. Originally released in 2018, this free-to-play EGS game puts you in command of the Adeptus Mechanicus, one of the most technologically advanced human forces in the Imperium. During battle, each decision will influence the course of your mission and the future of your Ark Mechanicus, also directing you towards various different endings.
Saturnalia meanwhile is a day one release. Available today, the horror and survival game will plunge players into the heart of labyrinthine roads changing every time you lose all your characters. Just like the characters in a movie, you will be led to explore an isolated village with ancient rituals where nothing will go as planned.
What are the next free EGS games?
And next week? What is the program ? Saturnalia and Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus will be replaced by Filament and Rising Storm 2: Vietnam. The first will ask you to solve complex cable-based puzzles that will help you find out what happened to the crew of the Alabaster.
Rising Storm 2: Vietnam, installment of the Red Orchestra series, will immerse you in large-scale battles involving up to 64 players on more than 20 maps. US Army and Marine Corps, PAVN/NVA, NLF/Vietcong, Australian and ARVN forces, more than 50 weapons, 4 pilotable helicopters, mines, booby traps and tunnels are on the program. These two new Epic Games Store free games will be available from November 3 to 10, still at 5 p.m. French time.
