League of Legends has become one of the most iconic games in the MOBA genre, if not THE most iconic, and continues to attract new players, despite being released in 2009. The fact that it is very often updated day, while having a very complete sports scene, is a major asset in its longevity. After a while on this free-to-play, or quite simply following a return after some time of absence, you may want to change your nickname in game. This guide aims to help you help in the steps, which are not necessarily clear to everyone.
How to change your username in LoL?
Know that the steps are quite simple when we know how to do it, and that the operation will only take you a few minutes at most, since changing your nickname on Lol is relatively easy. Here are the steps to follow if you want to change your Summoner name.
- Open the LoL Shop.
- Click on the “Account” section at the top right of the store.
- Go to the bottom of the list and find the “Change Summoner Name” product.
- Type your new nickname in the dedicated space then click on “Verify”.
- If your nickname is available, you just have to validate to change it.
However, before you embark on this process, it is important to note, as you can see, this option is not free, but during your first change of League of Legends nickname. It will be necessary, in fact, to have 1,300 RP, which represents 10.99 €, or 13,9000 EB in order to complete the operation. If we override the price constraint, you can change your Summoner name as many times as you want on your account, without any restrictions.
Obviously, this name change applies to all games from the client Riot Games, that is to say TFT and LoL, but also Wild Rift, the mobile version of the famous MOBA.
