Available since October 4 on several gaming platforms, and this for free, Overwatch 2 benefits from a real follow-up from the developers at Blizzard. Moreover, the development studio in charge of this opus, and more generally of the license, has planned to make some changes in a future update.
In a recent article, to be found on the official site, the developers at Blizzard explain that the next rebalancing concerning several Heroes, namely Genji, Zarya, Kiriko, Sombra and D.Va. By the way, here are the last known details about it:

- Shadow
- Reduced Hacking ability duration from 1.75 seconds to 1.5 seconds.
- Already hacked enemies cannot be locked for hacking again for the duration of the effect.
- Reduced damage multiplier from 40% to 25%.
- Genji
- Reduced ammo quantity from 30 to 24.
- Reduced shuriken damage from 29 to 27.
- Zarya
- Reduced Barrier duration from 2.5 seconds to 2 seconds.
- Increased Barrier cooldown from 10 seconds to 11 seconds.
- D.Va
- Increased Fusion Cannon spread from 3.5 to 3.75.
- Decreased damage on impact of Turbojets ability from 25 to 15.
- It’s there
- Reduced invulnerability duration with Swift Step ability from 0.4 to 0.25 seconds.
According to the information shared in said article, these changes should arrive in an update, whose deployment date is currently set for November 15. That may change. We will of course keep you informed if this is the case.
