As you probably already know, the Golden Joystick Awards 2022 ceremony took place on November 22, 2022. In fact, FromSoftware’s latest title, Elden Ring, was crowned “Ultimate Game of the Year “. For the occasion, the director of the game, Hidetaka Miyazaki, took the floor.

First of all, Hidetaka Miyazaki wanted to thank the players  but also the writer George RR Martin (known for Game of Thrones) who collaborated with the development studio FromSoftware to create the world and the lore of Elden Ring. Afterwards, and especially at the end, Miyazaki said: ” […] we have every intention of continuing to create more and more interesting games…. A news that will certainly delight players.

However, Miyazaki did not share any further information regarding FromSoftware’s video game projects. Thus, it is advisable to be patient and to wait for a new communication from the said development studio to know more about it. Of course, we will keep you informed.

Recall that Elden Ring is also one of the nominees for the Game Awards 2022, notably in the categories “Game of the Year”, “Best Direction, “Best Storytelling”, “Best Art Direction” and others. The votes  are, moreover, open.
